What if I can’t find my spot?

Our hosts and we are doing our best to provide accurate information about the spots. The spot information in your booking confirmation includes the address and geolocation of the spot and many of our hosts additionally provide pitch directions for you. Should you not find your spot at the given address/geolocation, here are some tips for you:

  • The first step should always be to contact your host. You can find their phone number and email address in the booking confirmation. You can also use our roadsurfer spots chat to connect with your host (How can I contact my host?)
  • In addition, it can help to have a look at Google Maps or another online map provider. Sometimes, searching your spot by name can lead you to the right location.
  • Many of our hosts are private persons. Thus, you might have already arrived at your spot without knowing it. Try ringing the doorbell; a neighbor might be able to assist you.

The best way to avoid getting lost is to contact your host before traveling to the spot. Plan your route according to the address/geolocation, and if the destination seems odd to you, call your host or write an email.
