Providing a manual for your guests can be a valuable resource that shows your warm welcome and get the most out of their stay at your spot.

The manual should provide a helpful overview of the spot, it includes information on the amenities, services, and resources that you offer to your guests, as well as guidelines for using these facilities safely and responsibly. Here is an example for creating your guidebook:

  1. Start with an introduction: Begin your manual with a friendly greeting and a brief overview about your spot. Let your guests know what they can expect during their stay and highlight any unique features of your property.
  2. Check-in and check-out procedures: Outline your guests' check-in and check-out procedures. Include information about where to park, how to access your spot, and any other important details.
  3. Provide a map: Include a map of your spot, highlighting the location of campsites, restrooms, showers, and any other important amenities.
  4. Safety information: Your manual should include safety information for your guests. This should include emergency contact information, location of first aid supplies, and any safety rules or guidelines.
  5. House rules: Put down your house rules from your spot page here. This should include information such as quiet hours, campfires, pets, and any other important policies of your spot.
  6. Amenities: Provide information about the amenities that are available at the spot and how to use them, for instance, how to connect to Wi-Fi, where to put in coins for the hot shower, or where to find the BBQ equipment, etc.
  7. Additional local insights: Consider including information about nearby hiking trails, fishing spots, recreational activities and attractions, restaurants, or other points of interest in the neighborhood. You can also make a separate guidebook for your spot.
  8. Contact information: Provide your guests with contact information so they can get in touch with you if they have any questions or concerns during their stay.
  9. Closing: End with a friendly farewell and invite your guests to reach out to you if they need anything during their stay.

You can print out the manual and hand it over to guests during check-in, paste the manual at the spot’s public area. You can also provide the digital manual by roadsurfer chat once the guest has made a confirmed booking with you.
