We work with our trusted third-party payment provider, Ayden, to ensure all transactions made on roadsurfer spots are made safely and securely. Therefore, the creation of a payout account is necessary to start your spot hosting journey!
If you have all the required information, it takes around 5 minutes to create your payment account. (What information do I need to register a spot payment account?). Usually, there is no need for further action on your part after the first quick registration. If verification of the information provided requires verification documents, we will contact you at an early stage.
As soon as you have exceeded the €1,000 and €5,000 revenue thresholds, Adyen will request further verification. You can access/log into your payment account to complete the verification process as indicated below, based on your payment account type.

We will send you a reminder email as you reach your milestone. If the automatic verification is unsuccessful, you will have 42 days to provide the requested documentation for verification, or your payment account will be suspended. Please be aware that once your account has been suspended, the pending payouts will be refunded back to guests.
