The host's responsible for declaring taxes according to local tax guidelines. Depending on the location, you may be required to collect tourist tax/visitor's tax from your guests as a spot host. In addition, you may be required to declare your income tax from spot payments.

As an intermediary platform, we cannot and are not allowed to give legally binding information on this. The best contact point for tax-related questions is always your tax advisor or the local authorities.

You can decide whether you want to include the tourist tax in the spot price or charge it separately on-site. If you decide to charge the tourist tax on site, you should inform your guests before booking, for example, in your house rules, exactly how much the tourist tax is.
